Summary: Kate is a novel about a girl who's fourteen years old and she is dying. She has a brain tumour and the doctors can't find a treatment that she needs. No one in her life can't accept the fact that she is dying, but Kate is trying not to think about it and just enjoy those last moments she has left. Experiencing the last moments she has left, Kate falls in love with a local boy who is in jail for a robbery.The book Kate is a novel that makes you feel sad and brave at the same time. She is trying to be a normal teenager and leave the sickness on the side,but she just can't with all those people reminding her. I guess what I'm trying to say is that we all reach the point where we wish we are different,but we are not, and that is what makes us so special. And I think we all should enjoy the life and try different things. If you are not interested in doing that, just ask yourself one thing: "What would Kate do if she had a chance?"
